Counters
In this section we will cover how to use our own counter and about them in general, i.e. what to look for and which types may be suitable for your needs or application, over the years, in fact since 1998 we have been providing some type of counting service and have accumulated a great deal of questions about our counter and other counts on the internet, and so we thought it about time to put all this information in one space.
Counters can be an excellent way of monitoring your visitors to your website. You can even use these them to see who is coming and going on your website as well as how they navigate through your web site. Furthermore you can use a simple little tacking code to see how many people are clicking on a particular link in your web site to another website. Any way you look at it though, these counters can be a great way of keeping tabs on your website’s visitors.
This is a very simple and easy to use system of trackers and counters which only requires the use of some easy to add lines of code to any point of your web site which you will be able to obtain once you have started your account with our counter and tracking service. From there, just follow the simple and easy to follow instructions next to each type of counter or tracker and add it to your web site with ease. It is important though that you remember to check out our Terms of Service or TOS so that our spider does not deactivate your account automatically.
Once you are sure that you have everything on your website and it is setup correctly according to the instructions, you will start to see the counter’s numbers increase as well as seeing data appear in your account control panel. The good part is though that if someone just stays on one page hitting the refresh button over and over again, the counters will not go up as they are designed to count unique traffic to and from a particular web page.
According to our TOS though, any time that you are using a tracker link, you must also use one of our counters along with it. In order to better service everyone’s account, we use an automated spider program which will visit your website from time to time to ensure that you are following by our Terms of Service and in the event that it finds you failing to follow by it, your account will be automatically deleted. You can always open another account later, but please remember to follow by the Terms of Service to prevent any possible complications that may arise.
