Question: What is the importance of passwords?
Answer: Passwords are needed when you set up your account as it allows you to prevent people from seeing your statistical data as well as it gives you the access to the higher abilities of an account with us like the resetting of counters and more.
Question: What if I forget my password?
Answer: If you have chosen to go ahead and add a password to your account to access the higher functions of the account and you forget your password, we would like to apologise but as of right now recovering or resetting of an account password is currently unavailable. We ask if you set a password to remember it. We hope to later be able to add this function to the accounts but unfortunately it is unavailable at this time and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Question: Is it possible to add a password or change my password at a later date?
Answer: Once you have chosen to open an account with a password as a means of protecting your statistical data and having access to the account’s higher functions, you will not be able to change it at this time. Furthermore if you chose not to add a password but would later like to add one this too is not possible at the moment. In both cases you will need to open a new account in order to do so.
Summary:
When you initially open an account with us, you will be given the option to add a password to the account or not. You do not have to add a password to the account but if you do not any visitors to your website will be able to see your statistical data. Furthermore choosing to add a password will give you access to the account’s higher functionality such as resetting your counters back to zero.
As of the current setup though, we do not have an ability to reset or change passwords but we do hope to add this at some point in the future. If you setup an account with a password it is important that you remember it because you will not be able to reset the password or even recover it at a later date. It is important to remember that if you are setting up an account that you should add a password as it gives you access to the accounts higher functions.
Notes:
Please keep in mind that you need to keep your password private as there is no way of resetting or changing your password. If you choose to give it out to someone, that person will also have access to the account’s higher functions. Make the password easy for you to remember while at the same time not so easy that someone could easily figure it out and gain access to your account’s higher functions.
